Donna Jane Herring Council, age 66 of Lake Waccamaw, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at her residence. Born in Pender County on November 8, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Robert Herbert Herring, Jr. and Eunice Faye Cook Herring. Also, preceding Donna in death were two siblings, Robert Herbert Herring “Bobby”, Danny James Herring, Jr, and her granddaughter, Olivia Rahne Smith.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura Herring Clemmons (David) of Beanfort, SC, Lori Herring Hewett (Josh) of Chandle, AZ; Sister, Linda Herring Norris (Wayne) of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Elijah Hewett, Dallas Hewett, and Jordan Clemmons. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
