Obituary for Wilton “Bill” Hayes Wilton “Bill” Troy Hayes, 89, widower of Blanche Henderson Hayes, passed away on October 22, 2018. A native of Greenville County, son of the late Warren Haskell and Zessie Rogers Hayes, he was a retired textile employee, U.S. Korean War Veteran and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Surviving are two sisters, Mattie Greene of Greer and Patricia Vaughn of Taylors. Mr. Hayes was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Drew Hines and Rev. Todd Johnson. Honorary escort will be The Happy Hearts Senior Group.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800. Online condolences may be made at www.
