OBITUARY Withers Woodson Norvell December 21, 1941 – November 8, 2018 Withers Woodson “Sonny” Norvell, 76 of Blackwells Hollow, Crozet, died November 8, 2018 at his home. He was born December 21, 1941 in Nelson County to James and Virginia Norvell. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jewell and Priscilla Norvell; and a nephew, Chris Frazier, who he helped raise.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille V. Norvell; a brother, Clinton Norvell of Faber; a son, Anthony Norvell of Crimora; a step-son, Willie Rosson of Crozet; and a niece, Nancy Sue Brewer and her husband Rob. Sonny enjoyed playing golf and bowling when he was able. He worked many years at Comdial and ConAgra Frozen Foods.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Legacy Hospice and friends from the Free Union Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Teague Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
