Obituary for Wynonia “Winnie” Knipp INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Wynonia “Winnie” Knipp, age 75, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Saturday, January 5, 2019, at The Woodlands in Muncie, Indiana. Born November 22, 1943, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to William O. and Thelma Mahala Jones Knipp, Winnie attended Webster High School.

She worked at PRC Recording Factory in Richmond, Hindestone Coaster Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, and JC Penney in Richmond. Winnie enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa (Barry) Nelson of Parker City, Indiana, Paula (Rick Hartman) Fitzgerald of Indianapolis, and Jennifer (Eric) Wysong of Brownsburg, Indiana; grandchildren, Ashley and Evan Catey, Grant and Morgan Wysong, and Ross Hartman; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Ashayla, and Aiden Catey; sisters, Oretta Farmer of Fountain City, Indiana, and Cassandra “Sonnie” Coyner of Richmond; brother, Rondale “Ronnie” Knipp of Richmond; other extended family; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to extend special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and The Woodlands in Muncie for their loving care. Visitation for Wynonia “Winnie” Knipp will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Chaplain Ron Forsythe officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Heart to Heart Hospice, 1385 North Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN 46952.
