Obituary for Zeke Walker Ezekiel “Zeke” James Walker Evans, GA – Ezekiel “Zeke” James Walker passed away December 22, 2018. Zeke was a precious child, born January 9, 2017, full of life and energy. He enjoyed climbing, running, and having dance parties with his brother.
Zeke captivated the attention of those around him by his free-spirited, fiery personality and infectious smile. Zeke is survived by his parents: Dr. Chris and Winter Walker; brother: Carter; grandparents: Michael and Kathy Johnson, James Walker; great grandmother: Betty Lou Downs; aunts and uncles: Chase Hockaday (Kayla), Linda Mulligan (Thomas), Lisa Warren (James), Karen Cleary (Michael), Victoria Sciotto (Michael), Laurie Cole (Jasper). Zeke was preceded in death by his twin sister: Savannah Walker; grandmother: Maureen Walker; great grandfather: Bobby Downs; and cousin: Raegan McCollum.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2018, 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Nate Barbour officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Chris Walker, Michael Johnson, Randy Scott, and Chase Hockaday. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Blanchard. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Zeke Walker NICU Memorial Fund, University Healthcare Foundation, 2100 Central Avenue, Suite D-1, Augusta, GA 30904.
