Obituary for Zelda M. Jones Zelda M. Jones, 93, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2018, in Orange. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery at 1:00 p.m..

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in McAdams, Mississippi, on February 25, 1925, she was the daughter of Franklin Mitchell and Sallie (Gowan) Mitchell. Zelda was a faithful member of McDonald Memorial Baptist Church for a number of years.

She loved spending time with her family, especially when she was surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Zelda enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and gardening. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Sallie Mitchell; loving husband, James T. Jones; sisters, Auris Holton and Ella Sonnier; and brother, Franklin D. Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Henry and husband Tommy of Orange; grandchildren, Janna Henry Delaet, & Amanda Henry Jureidini and husband Elias; and great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, and Liam Delaet, and E.J. & Jordan Jureidini; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
