Obituary for Ada M. Durrett Ada M. Durrett, age 85, of Delaware died Sunday July 1, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1932 in Delaware to the late Henry R. and Anna (Muffler) Zimmerman.

Ada graduated from Willis High School in 1951 and also attended Capitol University. She had worked at Sears for 25 years and then at H & R Block for 15 years with the last half as the manager. She was a lifelong member of St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church where she participated in their euchre club.

Ada also belonged to the Jolly Janglers card club and enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, fishing, and enjoyed piloting the ski boat. Ada is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Durrett whom she married on Aug. 21, 1966.

She is also survived by her children; Mike (Dawn) Hout of Miamisburg, Patti Hout of Delaware, Beth (Don) Kaltenbach of Marblehead, and Suzie (Carl) Nash of Lake Worth, FL; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Ada was preceded in death by her parents, a son David Durrett, one brother and three sisters. Friends may call Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until noon at St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Her funeral service will begin at noon with Rev. Jennell Rue officiating. Burial will take place on Friday at 2:30 P.M. in Trenton Cemetery.
