Adelaide C. LaBean Pinconning, Michigan Adelaide C. LaBean, age 88, passed away peacefully at the Carriage House in Bay City on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born to Eugene & Florence (Clarkson) LaLonde on November 21, 1930 in Pinconning, Michigan. Adelaide graduated from Standish-Sterling High School in May 1949.

She married Harold Joseph LaBean at St. Michael Church in Pinconning on October 8, 1949, they celebrated their 53 rd wedding anniversary… Read More » shortly before Harold passed away in February 2003. In her free time Adelaide enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, and going for walks. She was always ready for a game of cards, which usually included Euchre, Aces Wild or Skip-Bo.

Adelaide is survived by her 4 children; Robert LaBean, Patricia Daniel, Joseph (Carla) LaBean, and Kathleen (Joseph) Toft, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters; Mayr (Harold) Woolhiser, and Anne Mercalfe. She was preceded in death by brother in law Frank Metcalfe, 2 half-sisters; Sister Ceilia LaLonde and Esther Laverty, and a brother in law Delbert Laverty.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12 pm from Holy Trinity Parish-St. Michael’s Church, with Rev. Fr. James Carlson and Deacon Gary Patelski presiding, with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Friday, November 30, from 2 until 8 pm, with prayer Vigil at 7 pm. Adelaide will lie in state from 11 am until the time of service.
