Agnes Boone Blanchard, 94, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 26, 1923 in Alamance County to the late Ralph Boone, Sr. and Bertha Huffines Boone. She was the wife of 50 years to the late Marvin Eugene Blanchard who died in 1993 and to the late Odis Crawford of 5 years who died in 2003.

Agnes is survived by her sons, Steve Blanchard, Danny Blanchard and wife, Diane, Keith Blanchard and wife, Suzanne; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brother, Holt Boone and wife, Wilma; and her special friend, Ross Smith.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands; parents; sisters, Lillian Jones and Ozelle Broyles; a brother, Ralph Boone, Jr. and her daughter-in-law, Baynette Blanchard. The funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Laura Dunlap with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living and to the staff at Homeplace of Burlington for all their compassion and care that was shown to Agnes during her illness, and a special thank you for all the support you gave to our family.
