Obituary for Alan A. Klemp ALAN A. KLEMP, age 64 of Port Austin, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center of Flint. He was born on July 15, 1954 in Harbor Beach to the late Arthur and Mary (Hall) Klemp. Alan is a retired employee of Tower Automotive, after working for 43 years.

Alan served 2 years in the US Army. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 499, where he worked on the Friday Fish Fry’s. He enjoyed going to the casino, and reading military books.

Alan is survived by several cousins, including Nancy Schelke of Port Hope. Funeral Services for Alan will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11 am at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Rev. David Dodge.

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation for Alan will be Wednesday, from 2-8pm at the funeral home. Visitation on Thursday will begin at 10am until time of services at 11 am.
