Albert D. Derr, 88, of Palmyra passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 in Columbia Cottage, Palmyra. Born November 7, 1929 in Lebanon, he was the widower of Patricia Ann (Grothe) Derr since January 2015. Retired supervisor of buildings and grounds from Palmyra School District, he was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Grantville and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his sons David S., husband of Denise Derr of Palmyra and Steven M., husband of Heather Derr of Annville; grandchildren Brody Gill, Alyssa Shirk, Trevor Gill and Alexa Derr; and great granddaughter Addalyn Geist. A funeral service will be held 9:45 AM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 8:45 AM. Interment, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith United Church of Christ, PO Box 2, Grantville, PA 17028.
