Obituary of Albert Vroman, Sr Mr . Albert E. Vroman, Sr., 88, of Grand Valley, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Titusville on October 28, 1930 to the late Willard and Florence Spanagenberg Vroman. Albert married Linda Wagner on April 8, 1967 in Titusville. He was employed at James Paul lumber company for twenty years until 1967.

He then was self-employed working in the woods for six years; and then through Clear Lake Lumber for over twenty-seven years as a log truck driver. Albert enjoyed working, whether it was on the farm, tractors, or trucks, he could fix it all. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by three daughters, Linda VanGuilder of Titusville, JoyAnn Matteson of Centerville, and Lori McKean and husband Christopher of Grand Valley; a son, Albert E. Vroman, Jr. of Grand Valley; nine grandchildren, Jason, James, and Tonya Vroman, Bobbie Cherry, Tammie Van Guilder, Stacey Baker, Rodney Matteson, and Colton and Clayton McKean; nine great grandchildren, Oakley, Alyssa, Hunter, Courtney, Alexandra, Zachary, Jeremy, Sabastian, and Tate; six great great grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Miller of Pleasantville, Katherine Fink of Centerville, Evelyn Rose and husband Jack of Centerville, Elizabeth Bowles and husband Joe of Titusville, Martha Kush and husband Paul of Cherrytree; four brothers, Dillon Vroman and wife Alice of Meadville, George Vroman and wife Francis of Erie, Charlie Vroman and wife Mickey of Centerville, and Bruce Vroman and wife Becki of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at the Rometown Community Church, 44364 Harrison Rd. , Spartansburg, PA 16434, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12 to 2 PM, and funeral service to follow with Pastor Larry Reitz , of the Titusville First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 406 W. Oak St., Titusville, PA 16354.
