Obituary of Nona Koller Nona C. Koller, 86, formerly of 628 E. Spruce St. Titusville, passed away Wednesday evening February 20, 2019 at Southwoods Assisted Living Community. Nona was born on November 16, 1932 at Dubois, PA, a daughter of the late Robert and Esther Zepp Coble. She met her future husband, William B. Koller, at Westminster College in 1950.

They were married on Oct. 6, 1951 at Geneva, NY before he went overseas to serve in the Korean War. They were married 62 years.

He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2014. Nona was a graduate of Avonworth High School, class of 1950 at Ben Avon, PA.

She had attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. Nona and Bill were entrepreneurs, their biggest venture was building and operating Oil Creek Campground from 1972 until 1996. Nona was also a member and past president of the Titusville Women’s Club; president of the Titusville Historical Society; past president of the PA Campground Owners Association; and director of the National Campground Owners Association.

She served as a member of the United Methodist Church, and the Crawford and Venango County Tourist Promotion Associations. She and Bill enjoyed showing their 1933 Ford station wagon as part of the local Antique Automobile Association. Nona enjoyed singing in various choirs, playing the dulcimer, gardening, boating, rock collecting, camping, traveling, x-country skiing, and bird watching.

She is survived by two children, William C. Koller and wife Charlotte of Titusville and Susan Walsh and husband Michael of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren, Anne Kristoback, Laura Fryan, Katie Koller, John-Michael Walsh, Jessica Walsh, and Alyssa Walsh ; and a brother, Robert Coble of Inverness, FL. No public calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be announced in the near future.
