Alejandro “Alex” Jaruchik-Ibanuja, 72, of Charlotte, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Alex is survived by his beloved wife Isabel Naveiras-Vilar of 45 years, of Charlotte, daughter, Lara Jaruchik, of Charlotte, son, Esdras Jaruchik, of Girona, Spain, son, Abraham Jaruchik, of Barcelona, Spain, and son, Nehemias, of Girona, Spain. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Leia, Noa, Natan, Amelia, and an unborn grandchild, Ari.

Alex is also survived by his father, Pedro Jaruchik who currently lives in Argentina. He is also survived by four brothers and one sister and was preceded in death by his mother Ana Ibanuja. Alex was born in Paraguay on August 22, 1947 and lived most of his life in Spain, Argentina, and the Ukraine.

He met Isabel in the Canary Islands, Spain in 1973, and they eventually moved to Illinois, United States in 1996 where he worked as a producer in Christian Radio. Alex, Isabel and family moved to Charlotte in 2008. Alex loved to spend time at the ocean, whether in Spain, or the Carolinas, carpentry and woodworking, outdoors in nature, and bible ministry.
