Alejandro G. Salazar Jr. Lansing, MI Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the age of 84. Born February 16, 1934 to Alejandro and Angelita (Garcia) Salazar Sr. in San Bonito, Texas. Alejandro, or Al as he was often called, retired from General Motors as a Jobs Bank Coordinator.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Oscar Salazar; sister, Gloria Plata and son-in-law, Donald Pease.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Consuelo Salazar; children, Ophelia Perleberg, Celia (Timothy) Foltz, Angie Pease, James (Toni) Salazar, Michael Salazar, Dana Cogswell; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; brothers, Heriberto Salazar, Raul Salazar, Crescencio Salazar; sisters, Angelita Rodriguez, Mary Alice Gonzalez as well as many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Cristo Rey Church with Fr. Fred Thelen as Celebrant.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary prayer at 7 p.m. at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel.
