Alfred Lee Edwards, 65, of Bardstown passed away Saturday June 9, 2018 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born August 23, 1952 in Nelson Co He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, served in the Army Reserves, and a member of First Baptist Church of Bardstown.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Odessa Linton; and grandmother who was like a mom, Alberta Linton Maddox. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Edwards of Bardstown; eight children, Renita Edwards, Nicole Edwards, Steven Edwards, Cozet Allen Reed, Ledrick Edwards, Michael (Latisha) Edwards, Craig (Kenya) Montgomery, Chaylin (Cassandra Conner) Montgomery; seventeen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; uncle, Roscoe (Margie) Linton; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. His funeral service will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.

Rev. Wayne Lamont Montgomery will be officiating. Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday June 13 at Barlow Funeral Home.
