Alice “Babs” B. Moore March 15, 1930 – May 25, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Alice B. “Babs” Clayton Moore, 89, of Corry, Pa. , died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1930 in Hubbard, OH.

a daughter of the late Val and Lorrain Pierce Clayton. Alice was raised and educated in Corry, where she graduated from Corry High School in 1948. Over the years she worked for various businesses including Raymond Manufacturing (Associated Spring-Barnes Group) and Corry Instrument.

After moving to Warren, Pa. , she worked for several years at the Sylvania Corporation. Alice then moved to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and was employed for many years at the Webster Furniture Company, until her retirement in 1995.

Following her retirement she returned to the Corry area and has resided here since. Alice’s children and grandchildren brought her the greatest joy and were the most important part in her life. She also enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by a brother, John Clayton. Alice is survived by two daughters, Darlene L. Smith and her husband Richard of Wattsburg, Pa. and Debra L. Glotz of Warren, Pa.

; a son, Dale Pier and his wife Linda of Albion, Pa. ; a sister, Ruth Williams of Corry, Pa. and a brother, Fred Clayton and his wife Connie also of Corry, Pa.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. No visitation or service will held at this time. Burial will be held privately by the family.

Memorials may be made to charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa. 16407.
