Piechotte, Alice G. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Great Lakes Rehab Center. She was 93 years old. Alice Grace O’Connell was born on February 5, 1926 in Carrollton Township to the late Edward and Lucille (Rivett) O’Connell.

She married Virgil O. Piechotte on May 7, 1949 in Carrollton, he preceded her in death on January 8, 1989. Alice was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Alice is survived by her sons: David (Cheryl) Piechotte and Steven (Penny Kuhlman) Piechotte; six grandchildren: Joseph (Amanda) Bryce, Jeff Piechotte, Anthony Piechotte, Michael Kuhlman, Daniel Kuhlman and Amanda Piechotte; great grandson, Joseph G. Bryce.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil O. Piechotte; her daughter, Yvonne Marie Piechotte; parents, Edward and Lucille O’Connell; mother-in-law, Sadie Piechotte; brothers: George, Edward, Thomas and Daniel O’Connell; sister, Eileen Nowaczyk. FUNERAL: A funeral service for Alice will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wedneday, February 20, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. , Saginaw, MI 48609.

Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate.

Private entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATIONS: Family and friends are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd.

(off State) on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to Saginaw Advocacy for Individuals with Disabilities.
