Obituary for Alice Thibodeaux Yesso Alice Thibodeaux Yesso, age 83, a native and resident of Houma, passed away October 16, 2018. A visitation will be held in her memory at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park (4511 West Park Avenue, Gray, LA, 70395) on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 9:00am until funeral time . A religious service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 pm .

Inurnment will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Joseph, her nine children and their spouses – Jerome (Grace)Yesso, Tony (Kathy) Yesso, Joey (Angie) Yesso, Ann (George) Robichaux, Angela (Nick) Guidry, Tal Yesso, Susan(Dr. Tim) Maines, Fran Chatagnier, and Amy (Clay) Kellebrew, and her sisters – Jeanette Savoie, Barbara Price, and JessieLee Levron. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Daniel and Richard, and her parents, Albert Thibodeaux and Mildred Brunet Thibodeaux. She was also preceded in death by her brothers – Charles Thibodeaux, Roland Thibodeaux, and Ray Thibodeaux and her sisters – Marie Dugas, Josephine Porche, Aline Trahan, and Ramona McGuire. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.

She enjoyed cooking, swimming, sewing, camping, spending time with her family, and helping others. She will be dearly missed by both family and friends. The family would like to express their immense gratitude to Betty Celestine and Alexander Duke, one of her grandchildren, for providing loving care to Alice.
