Alicia Quintanilla, 77, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. She was born September 2,1941 to Heliodoro and Josefina Torres Leal in Mercedes Texas. She is survived by her loving family: Santiago (Jimmy)Quintanilla Sr. of Mercedes Texas, children: Rosalinda Quintanilla of McAllen Texas, Santiago “Tito” (Theresa) Quintanilla Jr. of Holly Michigan, Christina (Tina) Marcellino Ortega-Torres of Midland, Felix (Stacey) Quintanilla of Lake Orion Michigan, Michael (Amy) Quintanilla of Clare Michigan, 10 Grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, sister: Dora (Salvador) Sanchez and brother; Lee Leal.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister: Nellie Leal and brother: Roberto (Beto) Leal. Alicia Leal Quintanilla was loving and dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Alicia was a dedicated employee wherever she worked and for the past 20 years was employed at Rudy Garza Funeral Home.

There will never be another “ALICIA”. She is and will be dearly loved and missed by all those who knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. and on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2019.

A 10:00a.m. mass will be conducted at Rudy Garza Funeral Home -Chapel of Peace. Interment will then follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes Texas.
