Obituary for Allen W. Harman Allen W. Harman, 63, of Greene Township, passed away due to complications of COPD on Sunday April 29, 2018. He was born in Erie on September 5, 1954 a son of Shirley Nichols Harman and the late Willard Harman. Allen was a 1972 graduate of Wattsburg Area High School and worked as a dairy farmer for 32 years at Kimmy Dairy Farm.

He also worked construction with Mark Bean and Son for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting and race car driving. He loved his son Christopher and his girlfriend, Dawn with whom he shared many hours hunting.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin. In addition to his mother survivors include one son, Christopher A. Harman (Dawn) of Greene Twp. ; two sisters, Linda Nies (Richard) of Greene Twp.

and Patty Fike (Dallas) of Erie; one brother, Willard F. Harman (Marilyn) of Greene Twp. ; his best friend, Dennis Kimmy; his nephew, Ryan Nies (Heather); two nieces, Barbie Harman (Mike) and Denise Harman; his former wife, Lisa A. Harman; and the family dog, Boone. Friends are invited to a funeral service at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd.

, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wales Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
