Obituary for Valerie Davis-Crane (Montgomery) Valerie Montgomery Davis-Crane, 55, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday June 13, 2018 following a brief illness. She was born in Erie on August 2, 1962 a daughter of John Montgomery and Marie Kaliszewski Byers. Valerie worked at Modern Builders Supply for a number of years and enjoyed taking care of her dog, Bailey.

She also enjoyed bowling, bingo, and horses. She was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Janicki-Engberg and two nephews, Michael Evans and Justin Janicki. In addition to her parents survivors include one son, John Crane of Erie; one daughter, RyanLynn Allen and her wife, Lindsey, of Erie; one grandson, Ryan Scott Allen; two sisters, Sharon Person of Erie and Kimberly Evans and her husband, James, of Lake Ariel, PA; one brother, Shawn Montgomery of New Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. , on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and are invited to services there on Monday at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
