Obituary for Nancy Spaulding (Burns) Nancy E. Burns Spaulding, 72, of Summit, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Albion on March 13, 1946 a daughter of the late George and Evelyn Smith Burns. Nancy graduated from Northwestern High School and Erie Business Center.

She kept the books and co-owned Pop’s Mobile Home Park with her husband. She was a member of Perry Hi-Way Hose Company where she served as an auxiliary member and treasurer for many years. She also belonged to the Eastern Star Albion Chapter 22.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Burns. Survivors include her husband, Jonathan A. Spaulding; one son, Dr. Jonathan L. Spaulding of Erie; one daughter Cynthia L. Spaulding of Erie; five grandsons, Melvin, Dylan, Joshua, Nicholas, and Benjamin; one great grandson, Jayden; two nieces, Amy and Andrea; and her sister in law, Peggy Burns of Albion. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd.

, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Springfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Perry Hi Way Hose Co., 8281 Oliver Rd.
