Obituary for Allie Rawlans Brown Allie Rawlans “Rob” Brown, 65, of Westfield, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2019. He was born to Allie R. Brown and Joyce A. (Stewart) Cummins on January 30, 1953 in Indianapolis, where he lived most of his life. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1971 and served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Rob is survived by two loving children, Robyn A. Brown of Plainfield and Nathan M. (Chantel) Brown of NV; three loving grandchildren, Justin, Anthony and Zane Brown; three brothers, Joseph and Daniel Brown and Jerry Cummins; a sister, Sherry Branham; and dear friends, Betsy Dukes and Kent Kirby. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas Ray. Rob was a self-employed Brick Mason and also was a Manager and Chef at various restaurants.

He was a member of the Carmel VFW #10003 and Carmel American Legion #155. He was an outdoorsman, art enthusiast and loved gardening. Rob’s wishes were to be cremated and not have a formal service.
