Alma’s Obituary Alma Lee Grubbs, 85, of Richmond, KY, formerly of Middlesboro, passed away Saturday January 5, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born July 2, 1933 in Tazewell, TN, the daughter of the late Joe and Mattie Melford Noah. She was a member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church and had been a Registered Nurse for 36 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Joe David Southern and John Southern; 1 Brother: Don Noah; 1 Sister: Betsy Tuttle and her husband: Bill Grubbs. She is survived by the following members of her family: Children: Dennis (Brenda) Southern, Rick (Tina) Southern, Benny (Debbie) Southern and Tammy (Ed) Neeley. Daughter-in-law: Peggy Southern 1 Sister: Nancy Thacker 1 Brother: Lonnie Noah Grandchildren: Dennis E. Southern, Brad Southern, Robbie Southern, Jennifer Ellison, Mandy Bingham, Tonya Jones, Becky Yeary, Leslie Neeley and Leah Campbell.

Great Grandchildren: Will Southern, Will Jones, Bailey Jones, Elizabeth Bingham, Leah Yeary, Michael Yeary and Jackson Campbell. And a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

Jeff Greene and Rev. Boyd Bingham presiding. Music will be provided by Elizabeth Bingham and Thomasa Risner.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at the Creech Funeral Home.
