Dale’s Obituary Dale Allen Moyers, 53, of Middlesboro, KY, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 30, 2019 at the Middlesboro ARH. He was born January 30, 1966 in Middlesboro, KY, the son of the late Hugh Allen Moyers and Patsy Bellew Moyers Russell who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Foreman Moyers.

He is survived by sons Dalton Allen Moyers and Ethan Moyers, daughter Brittney Foreman, His Mother: Patsy Russell, grandsons Colton Cox and Alex Rogers, mother Patsy Russell, brother Rodney Moyers (wife Shannon Moyers), and sister Dr. Aimee Grace (husband Jon Grace). One of the questions we often hear growing up (and in adulthood) is ‘what makes a man? ’ Is it the amount of money in his bank account?

How many cars he owns? How successful he is at his job or how much he works? What other people think about him?

In reality, it’s none of those things. It’s how much you can love, unconditionally. Are you willing to give someone you don’t know the shirt off your back, or the last morsel of food when you’re hungry, too?

Are you willing to do it all the time? Dale was. If how much you can love is the true measure of a person, then Dale was beyond measure.

He loved deeply and trusted easily, was funny, loyal and intelligent…someone you could be proud to call a friend. He was always smiling and in a good mood, even when times were hard, and he did his best to transfer that good cheer to others. He loved his family; his late wife Sherry, his three children and two grandchildren, as well as his mother, sister and brother.

And he loved life; he didn’t waste a single breath because he knew what an unbelievable blessing life is. He had many who truly loved him, and we all know it’s a sadder world without him in it. And while we are all heavy-hearted knowing he is gone…his memory will live on and be cherished forever.

The best we can do to honor Dale is to love our family and friends, and even complete strangers, as he did…and to cherish every breath on this Earth we have, living like each day is our last. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Padgett and Mr. Jon Grace presiding.

Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Creech Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Creech Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
