James (Copperhead)’s Obituary James Ray (Copperhead) (Coal Miner) Carroll, age 70, of Middlesboro, Ky passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home. He was born May 27, 1948 to the late Harley Carroll and Margaret (Carmack) Carroll. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Alvin, Calvin, Cleveland, Danny, George, Larry and Perry Carroll, Vina Irvin, Ina Carroll and Betty Rains.

James is survived by his sons: James Edward, Mark and David Carroll, Brothers: Ronnie (Duck) Carroll and Earl Carroll, Sisters: Phyllis Mobley and Kathy Carroll; Grandchildren: Jimmy Kidd, David (Erica) Carroll, Jr., Samantha (Chris) Ramsey, Courtney Carroll, Justice Carroll, Amanda Carroll, Anthony Green, Great Grandchildren Olivia Kidd, Greyson Ramsey. Special friend Gary (Droop) Sparks, Bo Cepus Barnett, Owen Cosby, (Cowboy) Stanley, (Sam Bo) Lawson, Jessie Goins; Special nephews: Brian Carroll, Noah Carroll, Lucas Carroll; Special niece Kiyah Carroll in addition to other family and friends. The family will have a Memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Dunlap Baptist Church with Rev.
