Wanda’s Obituary Wanda Evans, age 78, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital after a brief illness with her sister and brother at her side. She was born on December 26, 1940 to the late Chester and Hattie Evans. She was retired from the Middlesboro ARH Hospital, where she worked as Ward Clerk for 40 years.

Everyone who knew her, loved her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrogate, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold D. Evans; and her sister, Wilma Hensley.

She is survived by the following members of her family: Sisters, Carolyn (Terry) Williams; and Shirley (Don) Welch of Middlesboro, KY Brother: Jim (Barbara) Evans of Middlesboro, KY Brother-in-law: Joe Hensley of Middlesboro, KY Nephew: Todd Williams of Middlesboro, KY Nieces: Jennifer (Daniel) Blakeman and their sons, Evan, Aidan and Logan Blakeman, of Richmond, KY. Carol (Mike) Swaggerty of Knoxville, TN; Lisa Hensley, Kim Hensley and Ashley Hoskins, all of Middlesboro, KY The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Bill Duncan, her former pastor at First Baptist Church in Harrogate, TN bringing the message. Words of comfort will be brought by Jimmy R. Williams, her pastor of many years ago. Interment will be held at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
