15, 1931 to Julius R. & Mary Sitka Mikulenka in Hallettsville. He married Maxine Woytek on Feb. 4, 1952 in Koerth, TX.

He service in the US Army from Dec. 10, 1952 to Dec. 9, 1954.

He was a member of the American Legion and St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville. Alvin is survived by: 2 sons, Donnie Mikulenka & wife Linda, and Randy Mikulenka; sister Mary Lee Brosch; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his extended family: longtime friend Elrose Kalisek; 3 daughters, Melissa Holub, Gayle Kubenka and Patricia Klesel; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Alvin was preceded in death by: his wife Maxine; parents; 2 brothers, George and Julius Mikulenka; 2 sisters, Loraine Marie Butschek and Anna Louise Butschek; and granddaughter Nicole Mikulenka. Funeral Service: 10 am, Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville.

Visitation: starting at 4 pm, Monday at Kubena Funeral Home; with the Prayer Service starting at 7 pm. Officiant: Pastor Jared Stillion. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): donor’s choice.

Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
