Amanda M. Mason, age 26, former Jefferson resident and currently living in Lake Wales, FL, died Sunday, 10/28/18 at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, FL following a very brief and unexpected illness. She was born in Ashland, the daughter of Todd L. & Rebecca Jo (Evans) Mason and lived in Jefferson until moving to Florida in 2010. Amanda was employed with a tractor supply company in Lake Wales.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the NRA and her past times included going to the beach, collecting and making items with seashells, big trucks, horses and being outdoors. Survivors include her parents, Rebecca “Becky” (Jonh Wick) Mason of Jefferson & Todd (Janet) Mason of Lake Wales, FL; her fiancé, Karl Baucum of Clearwater, FL’ a brother, Kaden Evans of Jefferson; her maternal grandparents, Terri & Randy Talcott of Jefferson & Jim & Bev Evans of Mansfield; her paternal grandparents, Ron & Marylou Mason of Lake Wales, FL and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11/9/18 at 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev.

James Brandis of Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, envelopes will be at the funeral home.
