Obituary for Andrew Duane “Andy” Godell Andrew Duane “Andy” Godell, 23, of Johnston City, passed away at 10:38 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident on Highway 37 just north of Marion. Andy was born November 22, 1994 in San Diego, California to Antonio Vilitta and Susan Lynn Godell. Andy was employed at Bob Evans Restaurant in Marion as a server.

He attended Johnston City High School where he enjoyed playing football and track. He also enjoyed singing and dancing. He cherished the time he spent with his baby girl.

Survivors include a daughter, Mila Rose Godell of Goreville; grandmother, Martha Dauderman of Johnston City; brother, Anthony Godell of Johnston City, mother, Susan Morales of San Diego; aunt, April Loggins of San Diego; close family friends Dyllen Shelby of Tulsa, OK and Patti Rowland of Johnston City. He was preceded in death by his father and an uncle, Steven Godell. Celebration of Life service will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Pyle Funeral Home with his friend Dylan Shelby delivering the eulogy.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
