Obituary for Andrew P. DiPietro ii Greenland – Andrew P. DiPietro II, 71, of Greenland, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home. He was born in Norwalk, CT on January 28, 1947 a son of the late Andrew P. and Chiara (Benicaso) DiPietro. A Navy veteran, Andrew went on to have a 26 year career as a Portsmouth firefighter.

Andrew was an animal lover and avid outdoors man, who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family members include his wife of 45 years, Kathy (Trowell) DiPietro of Greenland; children, Amy DiPietro of Portsmouth and Brian DiPietro of Greenland; siblings, Mary-Ann Cardillo, Joseph DiPietro and Gloria DiPietro; grandchildren, Dylan, Justin, Ethan and Mariah Cherry and many nieces and nephews. At Andrew’s request a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
