Angie Dawn Hughes Williams, age 48, of Marion, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 9, 2018. A native of McDowell County, Angie was born on December 21, 1969 to the late James and Connie Johnson Hughes. Angie was a wonderful mother who provided for her family.

She loved her family dearly especially her children and grandchildren. Angie was a member of the Sunny Grove Baptist Church. She was also an avid Harley Davidson fan who will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memories are three children, Timmy Hughes (Sierra), Bradley Tipton (Kristin) and Shayla Cable (Darren) and four siblings, Phillip Hughes (Melissa), Kathy Dalton, Rebecca Ferguson (Nick) and Jamie Hughes (Angie) and half-brother, Jeffrey Hughes, half-sister, Kristy Hughes, step sister, Betty Ann Robinson and step mother, Joyce Hughes Hatten. Also surviving Angie are her grandchildren, Hayden Williams, Landon Tipton, Brooke Hughes, Laurel Tipton and Paeslee Coffey and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service.
