Angelina D. Sykora, 61, Wausau, formerly of the Town of Deerbrook, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Benedictine Living Community, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born November 12, 1956 in Wisconsin. On July 16, 1977, she married Ronald Sykora in Gleason.

He survives. Angelina was a 1975 graduate of Antigo High School and furthered her education, attending North Central Technical College in Wausau for one year. For 41 years, she worked at Marathon Electric Corp.

in Wausau in data entry and then in the industrial engineering department. She was a volunteer for Junior Achievement, past president of the Western Fraternal Life Lodge No. 227, Deerbrook and a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Wausau.

Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed music, teaching piano lessons and going out for breakfast on Sunday mornings with her husband, Ron. Angelina also loved her kitties, “Sam”, “Max” and “Maxie”. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ron Sykora, Wausau; her brother, Tom of Alaska; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Ed and Sarah Franc. Private services will be held at a later date. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
