Ann Buckle passed away on March 4, 2019 in East Northport, New York at the age of 87. Born on September 4, 1931 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Ann was the only child of the late John and Anna (DiPalma) Porzio. She graduated in 1950 from Dickinson High School in Jersey City, New Jersey and then worked at the American Can Company, where she met and fell in love with Charlie Buckle, who she married in 1950.

After her wedding, Ann moved to Staten Island, New York and was hired at RCA, where she learned to use a comptometer. Over the years, she enjoyed her career working in the accounting departments at Nassau Smelting and Korvettes on Staten Island and Delafield Asset Management on Wall Street. Ann and Charlie (who worked for Consolidated Edison of New York) retired to Spring Hill, Florida, where she lived for 23 years before moving to Pennsylvania, and then more recently to Long Island.

Ann loved to dance, play cards and bingo,and cruise the Caribbean with her husband and friends. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles B. Buckle, Jr. in 2014. Ann is survived by her son, Charles J. (Michelle) Buckle; two granddaughters, Lauren (Scott) Hathaway and Jenelle Buckle; and a great-grandson, Logan Hathaway.

Friends and family will be received at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Boulevard, Staten Island, NY from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
