Joan M. Sheridan, 89 of Yorkville passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Lenox Hill Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born Friday, May 23, 1930 in Manhattan, New York to the late Eugene Tormey and Frances Bestick. Joan was a lifelong resident of Yorkville, Manhattan.

Joan was a devoted worker at the ASPCA for many years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Devoted Mother to Albert Trojan, Cindy Albertson, and Linda O�Carroll, loving Mother-in-law to Dawn, David and the late Patrick, Cherished Grandmother to 10 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 13 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2019, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Funeral service will be at 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at St Thomas Church located at 6135 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10309. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Joan M.
