Lynn C. Montello, 76 of Great Kills, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born Saturday, June 6, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward Garbarino and the late Chiara Sfinge Garbarino. Lynn a home maker, devoted her life to her family and her grand daughter Alexxis.

Lynn enjoyed shopping and was extremely social, always making time for family and friends alike. An avid FaceBook user Lynn could always be found on ”the computer” checking in with everyone. She was the devoted wife of 55 years to Nicholas Montello.

Loving mother of Jack Montello and Nikki Ludovico, Dear mother in law of Dina Montello and Michael Ludovico. Adored sister of Claire Brown, Edward Garbarino and Michael Stolzer. Cherished grandmother of Alexxis Lugo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at The John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
