Rosemarie Valente of Annadale passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Addeo House at the age of 54, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn to Elvia and the late Armando Valente. A graduate of New Utrecht High School, she began her working career working in the Capital Markets Division for Commerz Bank in Manhattan.
Rosemarie enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family and friends. Known for her infectious smile along with her warm and pleasant personality,she even managed to maintain her smile through the last days of her illness. She is survived by her mother Elvia, her nephew Anthony Valente and his wife Julie, her niece Erica Belnavis and her husband John, her great nieces Clara, Liana and Olivia.
She was pre deceased by her brother Ralph and is survived by her sister in law Nanci Valente. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Rosemarie will be laid to rest alongside her brother in Resurrection Cemetey.
