Ann “Eni” L. Grana (1927-2018) Burlington, WI- Ann (Eni) L. Grana, 91, was born on December 15, 1927 in Pisa, Italy. She passed away peacefully in Burlington, Wisconsin on Friday, November 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Annie spent most of her life in Chicago, moving to Paddock Lake, Wisconsin in 1978 and then to Burlington, Wisconsin in 2011.

In addition to her two daughters, Ann and her loving husband, Greg, considered all the kids of the Norwood Park Imperial Drum and Bugle Corps part of their extended family.

She was the cherished mother of Renee (John) Knutson, and Marie (Dennis) Smith, loving grand-mother to Thad (DeAnna) Miller, and Greg (Alejandra) Miller, and Dennis Smith Jr.; great-grandmother to Jack, Gigi, Francesca, Eni Caramia Miller, Dalton and Dakota. Fond sister of Gloria (Bob) Ulivieri, treasured godmother of Diana and Bill Ulivieri, and Lynn Grana Gburek. Cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Greg Grana, caring parents, Guido and Isolina Maionchi, brother, Richard Maionchi, and special friend Keith Johnson. In keeping with Ann’s often expressed wish that “If there is a heaven, I hope it is a library”, in lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Burlington Public Library, 166 East Jefferson St. Burlington, WI 53105 with the notation “Annie’s Reading Room” in the memo. Box 98, Burlington, WI 53105 Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11 AM until 3 PM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home.
