Ann Logmann, 89, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 in her home. She was born January 30, 1929, in Michigan City, to Anthony and Blanche (Hogue) Dostie. Ann was a bus driver for the Michigan City Area Schools where she retired after 13 years of service.

Also preceding in death were her parents; six sisters, Geraldine Heckel, Beryl Kellogg, Adeline Suida, Kathryn Schultz, Dixie Fatter and Carole Stark; three brothers, Lester Meads, Kenneth and Marion Dostie; and one grandson, Steven Bootz. Surviving are four children, Janice (Richard) Lubiniecki, Jerry Logmann, Toni (Rick) Bradford and Kim (George) Ritter; six grandchildren, Brad (Debbie) Lubiniecki, Kristen (Benjamin) Jasicki, Adam (Callie Burke) Bootz, Chad (Haleigh VanderVinne) Bootz, Erik (Michelle) Ritter and Andrea (Brent) Samford; eleven great grandchildren, Karissa (Jonathan) Grubl, Brad (Veronica) Lubiniecki, Jr., Austyn Lubiniecki, Elliot and Eden Jasicki, Dyanna, Ashlei and Savannah Bootz, Rhys and Emily Ritter and Talon Samford; and one great-great granddaughter, Blakely Grubl. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd.

, La Porte (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Bill Fine officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. A private burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.
