Obituary for Ann Louise Smokoski Ann Louise Smokoski, Saginaw Twp. , Michigan. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully Friday, September 7, 2018 at Saginaw Senior Care with her family at her side.

Age 93 years. Daughter of the late Leopold and Madaline (Pontseele) Van Moorleghem, Ann was born April 21, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Donald J. Smokoski on February 23, 1946.

He survives her. Ann was a member of St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church. She enjoyed a career and retired from Sears Roebuck and Company.

Anyone knowing Ann knew she made the best homemade pies with no recipes. Surviving besides her loving husband of 72 years, Donald are two daughters, Linda Dunn, Glendale, Arizona; Susan (Mike) Teasdle, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Drs. Matthew (Courtney) Dunn, Phoenix, Arizona; Jessica Butler, Glendale, Arizona; Sara (Eric) Ritchie, Molino, Florida; Lori (Chris) Arnold, Pensacola, Florida; eight great-grandchildren, Grace, Catherine and Patrick Dunn, Annabel and Alexander Butler, Isabella and Sawyer Ritchie, Ember Arnold; several nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Larry Moorleghem. A Committal Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Andrew Mausoleum, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev.

Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit at St. Andrew Mausoleum where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service.
