Obituary for David A. Dunn Dunn, David Aaron Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Friday August 31, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital at the age of 33. David Aaron Dunn was born on October 13, 1984 in Saginaw to David J. Dunn and Elizabeth (Dunn) Welch. As a young boy, David, attended Good Shepherd ECC, and then Peace Lutheran School.

While attending Peace Lutheran, he was in cub scouts and Awana at Grace Baptist Church. At the age of 10 he started training in Tae Kwon Do at Seung-Ni, under Gary Hausbeck. There he obtained his 3rd degree black belt and taught classes to young children.

David graduated from Valley Lutheran High School in 2003 and was a part of the Wrestling and Golf Teams. After graduation, he attended four years at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant with a Major in Psychology and a minor in Biology finishing in 2007.

He continued at Adler University, Chicago, IL, in the Psychology Program attaining his Masters. There he was in the Psi Chi Honor Society. Following graduation, he returned to Saginaw where his first job was with Hazel Milam at Michigan Comprehensive Professional Counseling as well as working in the ER at Covenant Crisis Center.

He moved on to Saginaw County Mental Health, then returned to the ER at Covenant. He was soon to begin work at the Hope Network Behavior Health in Flint as a Psychologist. While in Saginaw, he did psychological testing for many companies and worked primarily with children with Autism or learning disabilities.

David is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (Cameron) Welch; father, David J. (Roxanne) Dunn; brother, Drs. Matthew (Courtney) Dunn; sister, Jessica Dunn Butler of Arizona; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family. David was preceded in death by his grandparents: Melvin and Joan Dunn and Arthur and Janie Trejo.

FUNERAL: A funeral service for David will be held on 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev.

Matthew Hauser will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
