Obituary for George R. Fauver Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 78 years. Son of the late William and Eva (Bell) Fauver, George was born September 23, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. And was a member of American Legion Post #439. He married Sandra K. Cramton, his loving wife of 56 years, on October 20, 1962.

She survives him. George was a millwright at Grey Iron Foundry for 36 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Boot Scooters and U.A.W. Local #699.

George enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on small engine repair and remodeling. Surviving besides his wife Sandra are two sons and one daughter, Martin and Michelle Fauver, Saginaw; Amy and Robert Karinen, Commerce Twp. ; Richard Fauver, Battle Creek; five grandchildren, Justin, Cameron and Casey Fauver, Robert and Kayleigh Karinen; his sister, Barbara Robertson, Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews and great friends especially Mary Frost, Gerald Phillion and Chester Andrews; and his beloved pet, Molly.

George was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center (between Shattuck and McCarty). Entombment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Mausoleum with Military Services conducted by American Legion Post # 439.

Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
