Obituary for Michael J. Lemist Saginaw Twp. , Michigan Our beloved husband, son, and brother passed away peacefully Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the age of 40. Son of George and Mary (Sullivan) Lemist, Michael was born December 12, 1977 in Malden, Massachusetts.

He married Denise Berry in 1999. She survives him. Mike was a 2016 graduate of SVSU.

He was employed at Eddie Bauer Clothing. He was an author and illustrator of children’s books. Mike was a member of the Catholic Faith.

He enjoyed art, music, hockey, and baseball especially the Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox. Mike was a passionate Aquarist. What we most loved about Mike was his laid back, kind, loving, and teddy bear personality.

Surviving besides his wife Denise, are his parents, George and Mary Lemist, Malden, MA. ; one brother, Justin Lemist, Malden, MA. ; his father-in-law, Charles Berry, Farmington, ME; brother-in-law, David and Leisha Berry, Saginaw Twp.

; one nephew, Tyler Berry; one niece McKinley Berry; and his cats, Anya and Zildjian. Funeral Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Rev. Fr. Edwin C. Dwyer will officiate.

Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service.
