Obituary for Ann Mackintosh Huckaby Ann Mackintosh Huckaby, 89, of Wellford, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was born June 19, 1929, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Charles Donald and Lucy Moore Mackintosh. Mrs. Huckaby was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She was a dedicated member and past-president of the Blue Flower Literary Club and First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg Circle number seven. She was co-owner of Primrose Galleries in Boiling Springs and a member of the Happy Homes Club in Lyman. She attended Stratford College, Danville, VA and received a degree in Education at Converse College.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 65 years, Kenneth Russell Huckaby; one daughter and son-in-law, Libby H. and Bo Fant; and her loving caregivers, Frances Evans, Angela Lee, Sheila Kemp, and Linda Gurley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Martha Evins Mackintosh. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in the Perrin Room at First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg, with funeral services following in the sanctuary at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev.

Joanne Hull and eulogist, Beth Cecil. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307.

Honorary Escort will be members of the Blue Flower Literary Club.
