Obituary for Ann Marie Lauten Ann Marie (Stanaway) Lauten, 75, affectionately known as Annie Lulie/Woodee, passed away at her home on January 17, 2019. Born and raised in Jersey City to the late Alfred and Mary (Carugan) Stanaway, Ann Marie lived in North Plainfield prior to settling to South Plainfield twenty-six years ago. Ann Marie spent numerous years working as a Domestic Engineer.

She was very patriotic, loved the NY Yankees, was active within the Church of the Sacred Heart Community and volunteered countless hours with the Covenant House and Missionaries of Charity, where she was lovingly known as Annie. Predeceased by a sister Mary, a brother Tommy and her loving dogs, Rosie and Jingles Ann, Ann Marie is survived by her loving family, her husband of 55 years, Michael; daughters, Karen Pisani and her husband Michael of North Plainfield, Kristine Kingsbury and her husband Brian of South Plainfield and Jennifer Mellett and her husband Stephen of Point Pleasant; siblings, sister Lorretta Heba and her husband Doug of Toms River; brothers, Alfred Stanaway and his wife Carole of Livingston and William Stanaway and his wife Eileen of Toms River as well as nine grandchildren and ten grandpups. Funeral services will be held 9:15 am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield.

Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery also in South Plainfield. Visitation will take place in the funeral home on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 4-8 pm.
