Anna Cook, 10/19/1930-11/6/2018, of Drexel Hill, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her brother John J. V. Cook of West Chester, nephews and nieces; Louis Wickas, Gina Schubert, Patricia (John) Lackey, William Durning, Helen (John) Bossong, Julia (Stephen) Cutting and John (Melissa) Cook, their children and several cousins. She also leaves behind good friends including Peg, Barbara, Katy, Lisa, Tina and Dante.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Ellen Cook, her siblings, Mary Wickas, Margaret Schubert, Rita Durning, Peter Cook and Julia Cook as well as her nephews John Schubert, George and Robert Durning and niece, Veronica Cook. Miss Cook took great pride in her long career as a registered nurse at Misericordia Hospital in Philadelphia and she retired after many years as the Head of the OR. There will be a Memorial Mass Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 10am at St Andrew’s Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill.

Interment is private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
