Anna Efird Dollar, 80 years old of Hot Springs, left this world to be with her loving Savior on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Anna was born October 19, 1937 to W.C. and Elma Efird in Willow, Arkansas. Over 62 years ago, on June 29, 1955, Anna married the love of her life, Lendell Dollar, who recently left this world and was anxiously awaiting her arrival in heaven.

Over the next 30 plus years, they ran a modest poultry farm together in Garland County, Arkansas and raised five children, Rochelle Warford of Benton, Nora Eades of Temple, Texas, Regina Castleberry of Dallas, Texas, Barbara Polston of Hot Springs and James Dollar of Malvern. After raising her five children, Anna enjoyed working with the dietary team St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs for over five years. Anna was blessed with six loving brothers and sisters, Alan Efird of Malvern, Barbara Jo Harper of Longview, Washington and Dixie Whitley of Malvern.

She had two brothers and one sister waiting for her in heaven, Willie Efird, Tennie Cooper and Carroll Efird. She also has one precious grandson, Donnie Stratton, who met her in heaven for the first time on Tuesday. She has 7 grandsons, 8 granddaughters, 7 great-grandsons and 9 great-granddaughters, as well as a host of others dear to her.

Family and friends will meet for visitation on Sunday, June 17, 2018, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, at Davis-Smith Funeral Home in Hot Springs. Services will be Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Burial will be Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Donaldson, Arkansas.

Pallbearer’s will be CW, Brian and Joshua Polston; Kevin and Kyle Whitley; Wayne and Hunter Dollar; Scott Efird and Chris Eades. Honorary pallbearers are Paul and Imogene Miller, Don and the late Rose Callicott of Hot Springs and Robert Warford of Benton. Guest registry is at www.
