Gladys I. Martin, age 85, of Glenwood, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She was born on June 8, 1932 in Octavia, Oklahoma, the daughter of John S. Bethel and Viola Ashford Bethel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Allen; and her son, Kevin Ligon.

She was retired from Weyerhaeuser and attended Grace Baptist Church. She was active with the Glenwood Senior Citizens Center and convention singing. She loved being with family and friends.

She is survived by five children and their spouses, Barbara Taylor of Lawton, Oklahoma, Paula Carter of Little Rock, Kathy and Lloyd Davis of Shreveport, Louisiana, Karla and Guy Rosenthal of Brandenburg, Kentucky and Kim Ligon of Kilgore, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018, in the Grace Baptist Church with Bro. James Owens officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, in the Hochatown Cemetery, Hochatown, Oklahoma. Guest registry is at www.
