Arthur “Pockets” House, age 70, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born on July 28, 1947 in Pearcy, the son of Dennis John House and Ovie Armittie Yarbrough House. On June 1, 1977, he was married to Marilyn “Susie” Crandall.

He was retired from Keith Smith and a member of the Trinity Holiness Church. He loved coming to church and enjoyed singing. He loved animals, enjoyed joking with his friends and was known as a sweet, sweet spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Susie House of Glenwood; three brothers, Edward House of Woodland, California, Jimmy House of Bismarck and Don House of Malvern; three sisters, Opal House of Glenwood, Shirley Wilson of Hot Springs and Bessie Burnett of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 16, 2018, in the Trinity Holiness Church with Bro. Sammy Cottrell, Bro.

Tracy Welch and Bro. Gary Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Murvel Cottrell, Tharold Cottrell, Tony Cottrell, Trevor Cottrell, Trey Cottrell, Johnathan Pugh, Leighton Metcalf and Jeremy Self. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of St. Vincent Hot Springs ICU, Michael Millard, James Hemund, Hector Salmeronjr, Jeremiah Thomasson and the men of Trinity Holiness Church.
